PERFECT RACE FOR BIAGGI AND REA AT BRNO

The series of successes of Regina rider Max Biaggi continue on Brno circuit, with Max taking his ninth Superbike victory of the season, his tenth personal triumph on the Czech Republic circuit.
Race 1 is a Honda race:
Regina rider Jonathan Rea conquered the first step of the podium after dominating the race, gaining an advantage that gradually increased each lap. Rea passed the checkered flag with 2.5 seconds advantage from the Aprilia rider, who closed the race second.
In Race 2 the situation is reversed: a good start is the prelude to a perfect race that Max will run almost single-handed, with a final gap of 4.6 seconds to Rea. In Race 2 the podium is totally
Regina, thanks to the good third place of the Ducati rider Michel Fabrizio.

After the success of Brno, Max now is 68 points out front of the closest competitor, Haslam.

"After the second place in race 1 I was satisfied anyway – comments Max Biaggi – even if, to be honest, I expected the maximum on this track. And so it was in the second race: we made some changes to the rear suspension and the gearbox which, as it turns out, worked well. After being behind Rea for a while, I realised that I was faster and I overtook him. From there on, I just pushed it to the limit without thinking about tyre wear and the track proved me right. I want to thank my team. The guys support me and believe in my indications, and this is confirmed by our results. There are still a lot of points at stake, so I won't look back and I'll continue to stay focused race after race. That is the winning philosophy."

Next Superbike World Championship race will be held in Silverstone on August 1st.
